Presentation: Make the Case: Grant Funding for Online Outreach and Advocacy

Why should foundations fund online outreach? How can you make the case? How can you find the right funders? These were some of the key questions that were answered on the recent Care2 webinar "Make the Case: Grant Funding for Online Outreach and Advocacy." Panelists George Ford of the Foundation Center, Adele Douglas of Humane Farm Animal Care and Eric Rardin of Care2 said that the key benefits many funders want to see are:

  • efficiency
  • expanded reach
  • cost savings
  • capacity building
  • diversified sources of funding (you might go away)

You can check out the webinar here or view the slides below.

We are a national organization of 15,000 physicians, about to launch a campaign to educate 1 million people in 2012. A grant would help fund the outreach, which will be through media, and online work. Any contacts or ideas while we go ahead with this would be appreciated.
