Five Minutes with Fundraising Guru Ted Hart (Video)

Ted Hart is well known to many nonprofit professionals as the founder of the E-Philanthropy Foundation, which recently merged with Network for Good. Since leaving the foundation last year, Ted has been a whirling dervish, starting a consulting firm, authoring a new book -- People to People Fundraising: Social Networking and Web 2.0 for Charities -- and launching GreenNonprofits.org, to help nonprofit organizations “green” themselves.

Taking a break from a hectic tour as a speaker in the USA, Canada and Europe, Ted sat down recently for a few minutes in Care2’s Washington, DC office to chat with Clint O’Brien about the future of nonprofit fundraising, which he believes has a lot to do with new online social networks.

You can check out GreenNonprofits.org here and buy his new book here.

Ted, Clint... nice interview - especially the tie bit!

London is indeed a fine city & it was good to hook up with you both there in May. Bigger and better next February :)

It's always wonderful to see successful individuals who have dedicated their careers to nonprofit management. Gives me hope!
